This encyclopedia is based on astrobiology articles imported from Wikipedia. You are welcome to join in and help edit it. We welcome those knowledgeable in astrobiology especially, and your expertise and knowledge will be respected here. Though there is a lot of good material in the Wikipedia articles, some of it is out of date, or inaccurate, and needs to be looked at and fixed. Also, though extensive, there are many gaps, especially since many of the articles seem, by their content, to have been laste edited by anyone knowledgeable on the topic several years ago. They often don't mention the latest researches on the topic.

The aim is to present the full range of expert views on any topic, such as planetary protection, or habitability of present day Mars. However, unlike Wikipedia, we can also have separate blogs where editors present opinions, original research and so on. Details to be worked out.

This is not a paper encyclopedia and you can go into as much detail as you like on any topic, if necessary breaking out into separate articles.
